I don’t think trolls are necessarily stupid. They’re more like Hall of Average and then see lying and aggression as cheat codes. That’s lazy rather than stupid. This is not unlike how open carry (and especially concealed carry) gun nuts think their precious makes them more important than the dweeb they actually are.

Yea, it was premeditated.
I don't agree with his tactics but he's an interesting guy and as a former stage magician, he knows how to play audiences and the media. He's got 'fuck you' money - at least enough for him - and decided to go out making a point and while helping a minority pod caster get clicks. He's spent years deconstructing Trump and showing how Trump manipulates audiences for fun and profit and how the media coat tails on him for their own benefit.
He decided to fire a last one off as a parting gift. Lots of people claim to be nihilists - he actually is one.

I disagree. He's not that smart or self-disciplined IMHO. Yeah he has a big enough stack o'dollars to whatever for the rest of his life, but over the years it has looked to me like he has slid into a much more elitist attitude and this is far from the first racist pronouncement he's made.
