I found an upcoming episode listed for Friday but not any others, you? Snohomish county, just north of Seattle.Looks like Comcast in Seattle has it on channel 626 at 10p-12a, 12/16. The title is Sailing: America’s Cup World Series. Not sure if it’s the X-Mas race, but the right time frame.
If I was reluctant I think I'd at least wait to see the streaming situation. America'scup.com (sp) seems pretty unequivocal about coverage assurances. I mean, you'd be able to sign up to NBC on line instantly if necessary, no?Reluctantly going to bite the corporate bullet and sign up for NBC Gold Digger Sports, I am justifying in my pea brain by number of races etc. Don't want to mess with VPN etc., so it goes in America, pay to effing play. At least it is after 1700hrs. here in Pacific time so a stiff (or several) adult beverages will be appropriate.
What I’m going to do too, will wait and see. If it’s live but only online then I can cast it onto a bigscreen and (hopefully) DVR the delayed broadcast off Comcast right after. If I was reluctant I think I'd at least wait to see the streaming situation. The races are showing up on the NBCSN schedule later this week, but delayed (1-3a) rather than live. My guess is you need to gold pass to get them live, or (hopefully) watch them on YT, FB, etc. What I’m going to do too, will wait and see. My sense of it too. On the west coast the Friday broadcast on NBCSN starts at 10pm, right about the finish time down there. The races are showing up on the NBCSN schedule later this week, but delayed (1-3a) rather than live. When you assume...from https://www.sailingscuttlebutt.com/2020/12/14/how-to-watch-the-americas-cup/
Will the broadcast also be free on Facebook and/or YouTube? Unlikely for U.S. viewers. If NBC paid a fee for broadcast rights, expect them to be the sole source for live viewing with perhaps delayed highlight footage on social media.
The AC webpage does equivocate on that point, indicating that "every matches [sic] and racing of the 36th America's Cup . . . will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook and americascup.com in almost every country around the world."from https://www.sailingscuttlebutt.com/2020/12/14/how-to-watch-the-americas-cup/

Yes, been noticing the caveat too. Hopefully it will be live streamed online for the ACWS, and continue that way, in the US and elsewhere. The AC webpage does equivocate on that point, indicating that "every matches [sic] and racing of the 36th America's Cup . . . will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook and americascup.com in almost every country around the world."
Pretty fat asterisk there.
I have all three listed for my Comcast area, Bainbridge Island/Kitsap Co.I found an upcoming episode listed for Friday but not any others, you? Snohomish county, just north of Seattle.
The spreadsheet, if legit, shows that a few places, like Libya, won't have it on YouTube. But US, Latin America, Europe, all good on fb/youtube.The AC webpage does equivocate on that point, indicating that "every matches [sic] and racing of the 36th America's Cup . . . will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook and americascup.com in almost every country around the world."

Imagine calling out asterisks but not bothering to read the actual table. The spreadsheet, if legit, shows that a few places, like Libya, won't have it on YouTube. But US, Latin America, Europe, all good on fb/youtube.
I have no doubt there will be content on the digital platforms for those territories with broadcast partnerships such as the US. The questions will be what content and when will it be available. If the racing is going to be live on the digital platforms, then it's a real headscratcher that NBC Sports is trying to get people to spend $175 to watch the same content that the AC is giving away for free. Of course, what makes that $175 fee make sense is if the digital platforms won't be available in the US during live racing.Imagine calling out asterisks but not bothering to read the actual table.
The basic NBC Sports Network is not carrying at least the Christmas races live. They are broadcasting them a few hours after they occur (which is from 1-3a here on EST).I’m confused why everyone is losing their minds over the $175. That’s for the all in coverage. It’s free to watch if you’ve got basic cable.
I guess I didn’t pay too much attention to the time since I’ll be sleeping anyway. I set the DVR and plan to wake up early and watch before work. The basic NBC Sports Network is not carrying at least the Christmas races live.
