Thanks mate. We had to sail perfectly to stay ahead in these conditions. If ETNZ is ahead at the start there is no race. If we are, it's difficult to maintain the leadership but now we know it's doable. Now we hope to have lighter winds.

I don't think the Italians liked their jib choice in the first race. Win the most starts - win the cup. I'm thinking if it goes light for a bunch of races- the cup is going to Italy.

Luna Rossa has their first EVER point in an AC match and it took a mistake by ETNZ. Burling always has one nightmare race before he smashes his opponents. You guys might as well just stay in the shed on Friday.

Careful this stuff comes very addictive, enjoy your win. The Italians sailed a better race in the second match.
I think there might be a tiny speed edge to ETNZ, but not enough to counter a well sailed boat, and LR has plenty of talent onboard. It going to be exciting and anyone can win

TNZ will be fine and I'd still put my money on them. This would have been a wake-up call. And PB just has to change his mindset from Rocketship captain mode to balls-out 49er mode.
