looks like 2 under 25's are sailing them as intended already.
Leo and a young girl both looked to have had a go yesterday. Unfortunately for the naysayers, the boats looked fine - admittedly on the calm waters of the back paddock, but it was a good start. Seeing a pair of AC40s going about their business - they looked great, and it's a lift in spectacle. The potential of the class looks better than ever.

As I said, I’ve been here almost from SA’s very beginning. So I’m pretty clear on things.

I’m in this thread critiquing a very poorly designed racing sailboat - the subject of the thread. And my critique, though perhaps a bit salty for more tender palates, is backed up by a growing body of facts which I continue to present. Most rational people are seeing it all right along with me as it unfolds. Others have a hard time with the truth. Let’s just say I’m balancing out the over-the-top, ahm… “hype” …coming out of Hobbitland - with equal gusto.

I’m not talking about anything ”off topic”, or following anyone around from thread to thread (unlike some) - and apart from using the hilariously brilliant term “KiWhinger” here and there, am harassing no one. Sure, I’m a little rough on Krusty at times - but quite rightly so.

Now that we have that sorted, back to the topic at hand…let’s see what happens next…

Slightly off topic, was watching a 73 yr old guy sailing a wing foiler the other day down at Ballina on the Richmond river. The breeze was around 15kts, gusting a bit more, but the old guy went really well. He wasn't nailing all his gybes, but he's proof you don't have to be young to get into foiling.

Cite the actionable libel and slander please.

Usually smack is pretty cognizant of those limits. Where he goes off the rails is when he forgets his meds and does the manic posting thing.

Actionable libel and slander? One anonymous screen name yelling at another anonymous screen name would get laughed out of court.

If you are so offended by someone’s comments, the ignore function works very well. I have several kiwis on ignore.

Wow. It’s abundantly clear which is on AP and which isn‘t…

More confirmation of my earlier comment that there is no freakin’ way the women and children “race” these things without full AP. And how one can think there is a broader private market for a boat this unstable? Well, it does show hopeful imagination.

Is it? I can't really tell.

It's pretty hard to know which is the LEQ12 and which is the OD AC40.
