Age of a Rondar 420?

I have a Rondar I420 hull. The Transom Builder plate is stamped with sail number 47916 and serial number 2448. Can anyone tell me what year it was built. I already have a email into the builder. I thought that maybe I could get an answer faster on Sailing Anarchy.

Most likely 1994 according to the "latest sail number" that classes are asked to give to Yachts and Yachting mag in the UK each year for their "Racing Classes Review". However some class associations/manufacturers are clearly rather economical with the truth in these reports, so be warned!

Based on a quick look around at 2nd hand boats that sounds about right to me. Plaque number 2393 is listed as a 1994 boat in it's advert.

So provided the board still goes up and down with the rig tension on you’re good to go.

I sailed 47995 for a while and I think it was a 1995/96 boat.

Problem solved. The Builder got back to me and it was built in May 1994. Everyone thank you for your input.
