It seems to be a statewide thing.Aren't you in Denver? I was surprised to find how many places in CT sell ethanol free gas, mostly small shops that specialize in 2-stroke landscaping tools. Google search for Denver found this.... Good luck!
Unlike Wyoming and Idaho, I can't just get regular octane ethanol free gas at the pump. Yes, there are a few places to buy performance fuels that are ethanol-free, but all the ones I have seen are high-octane, and I prefer to match the octane to the manufacturer spec since they are small engines and it fucks up the power curve with the burn rate.
The canned fuel is the right octane, ethanol free and pre-mixed. The small additional cost has saved me from having to rebuild my small engines.
