It's still NZs cup though.Isn't that exactly what Lord Dalton did too.
Ideally it would've been good to sail 37 in NZ, but the economics weren't there. If we defend, hoping 38 will be back in NZ.but he did sell the soul of the Cup

But you are talking like it should be abolished, that it is crap, etc.Don't lie again. I have never said that SGP is a complete bogus series and should be abolished. You are a complete and utter liar.
No, Team NZ is still as strong as it was in 2017.Isn't that exactly what Lord Dalton did too.

It is very unlikely it will ever be back in NZ. The team is now just a bunch of pro's, the event is all about money and trying to be a self sustaining event with no particular country ties. Apart from the Italians and the Poms. Hopefully one of them will win it.It's still NZs cup though.

Ha ha ha ha ha ……. Really? It's still NZs cup though.

Well, can't really look that far ahead. AC37 is pretty open. Strong line up of teams all in with a chance, barring the French realistically.Ha ha ha ha ha ……. Really?
Even if the team that had represented NZ wins, they will just shop it for money with absolutely no regards for the fans in NZ. Unfortunately, New Zealand’s direct involvement in the AC has been sold and it will be a very long time before the country has the stomach to support/trust another effort. It is very sad, but true.Well, can't really look that far ahead. AC37 is pretty open. Strong line up of teams all in with a chance, barring the French realistically.
I see:@Sailbydate what are you seeing that the rest of us are missing with Alinghi?
You put them up there with a good chance of winning the challenger series?
TE on his Sailing Illustrated show has made several arguments for why Alinghi is the team to watch out for. His arguments include an apparently unlimited budget, Botin, and the Red Bull input.@Sailbydate what are you seeing that the rest of us are missing with Alinghi?
