A little update for those following:
We've had a month of delays involving delivery of materials. Sometimes I think the hardest part of this project is not the construction and engineering, but the supply chain management.
This week, after occupying ourselves for a month with piece-projects like the composite chainplates, we finally began the last phase of general laminations, which involves laminating the underside of the deck and cabin. As with the hull (see above in this thread), we built a frame for flipping the deck together with its original male mold. This ensured everything would stay rigid during the turn. We used simple purchases and a fork lift.
We then dismantle the original male mold by sections, laminating under-deck sections as we go. In this way, we ensure everything stays rigid and neat.
The next step will be to flip the deck again, then to lower it unto the waiting hull, at which point we will check the fit of the bulkheads as the deck comes to rest on them, making any adjustments as needed, and vacuuming the joints in place. For this, the hull waits patiently...
I've taken a portion of our down-time to work on the design and engineering for our carbon mast, for which I'm getting good input from experienced veterans, and to prepare the packet of drawings and info for submission to the Class for approval and ultimately measurement -- which is a project unto itself, and one quite unfamiliar to me!
Onward.

We've finished the final laminations of the underside of the deck and cockpit, and prepped the transom, bulkheads. and other internal reinforcements. So, finally, next week, we get to join the deck and hull and will then have something that looks quite a bit like a boat.
The panels and lumber you see in the back serve as temporary stiffeners to make sure the deck stays level and maintains its shape through its final laminations -- so that we have no nasty surprises when it comes time to fit it to the chines of the hull.
Final transom cuts with rudder slots and the obligatory escape hatch:

That boat ran aground near cowes, (due to a rudder popping up during a jibe), but managed to get out with the engine, retired from the race :
