Sam Manuard is an experienced designer and skipper. During the span of his career, he has triumphed in the Mini Class, 40 Class and Imoca Class. The latest designs have dominated the Class 40, winning the 2020 and 2021 season.

Sinergia Racing Group has been involved in the manufacture of models, moulds, prototypes and parts in composite materials by numerical control for more than two decades, for the nautical, industrial, wind and aeronautical sectors. It participates in world-class projects such as the America's Cup Sailing (AC72, AC45, AC50), Around the World Sailing (Volvo Ocean Race), TP52 among many other nautical projects, as well as wind blades of up to 65 m.

Carlos has built the boat with a team of professionals from Sinergia Racing Group where he has taken a design by Sam Manuard from paper to reality. After an optimization and training process, he will participate in the qualifying regattas in 2023 with the aim of reaching the start of the Mini-Transat 2023 with a chance of winning.

Mini's have always allowed t rudders as far as I know, the change to the rules that allowed foiling was the rule change to allow appendages to extend outside "the box" when not starting, that brought about 900 Arkema, 747 Sea Air, and more recently coconuts and the pogo foiler.

The rule is also probably partly why these foils on 1067 look like they do, they will pull flush to the hull for the start.

Interesting to see Beneteau step into the serie market. Big player. Boutique mini builders will be watching it closely what that will mean for their future.

That TM 650 boom is very low, very very very low.
