Coming down from Boston with our crew...really psyched to get out in some good weather after a winter of hellish frostbiting temps here. Also looking forward to some awesome racing and some rockin' parties.

Anyone know what the overpriced party tickets are going to cost this year? Other than the silly 3 day $55 dollar entry, otherwise I might just bring a cooler with beer and say parking lot party.

I think you have to show some tits or something before anyone will answer your questions. (Not your tits)
Thanks Ajax -- but you didn't you forget something else?? B)

Not that results are what I was talking about NOOB, but here's the results from the two most recent J35 one-design regattas -- one name is conspicuously absent -- why is that? Even the boats that didn't race at least registered. I believe for NASS, they raced PHRF?

Clearly, reading comprehension was not your strong suit in school -- please see above post, in which I asked . . .

And I didn't realize that the NASS race was on the same level as a multi-day one-design championship regatta -- I know that one-design fleets often embed championship competitions within other regattas (Farr 30s, for example) --was that the case with NASS?

I am afraid you are mistaken. There was J35 one design a few weeks ago, my son was on the boat. Can't seem to find the results but as I remember Bad Company took second to Aunt Jean. Not sure if Bump was there maybe he can shed some light on the subject.

I'm not mistaken because I was asking a question -- if I'd known for sure, I would have stated it -- thus the point of a question. Wow -- reading 101 really might be a good idea for you. To help you out here -- a question is not a statement of fact. And I believe you still haven't answered my other question as to why they didn't compete in the two biggest one design championships that were both held locally. I'm curious since it was my understanding that part of the reason the owners bought the boat was so that they could compete in one-design racing -- if you buy a boat for that reason, why wouldn't you participate in two of the bigger local one-design regattas?

I'm outta this. I have better things to do -- like actually go sailing to practice NOODs -- than argue the merit of a NASS race over a multi-day championship regatta. Will you be doing the same??

I know the annap J35's rather well, been sailing with them many times. Yes I think Aunt Jean is pretty damn hard to beat and so is Maggie (and Medicine Man). After them it becomes a toss up between a few others and Bad Company is at the top of that heap.

I know the J35 fleet as well -- perhaps not as well as you but maybe a little more than you might think, and I agree with your statement, but Bad Company is not nearly as consistent with their placements as some of the others. Results show that.

And you still haven't answered the question regarding participation in NAs and Mid-Atlantics . . .

Maybe we will just wait till the weekend plays out and we will see who ends up where. My goodness your feathers get ruffled easily:)

I also don't think Bad Company has done 2 PHRF races in the 3+ yrs he's owned the boat and I don't think he intends to ever do one again. The owner has always been a one-design guy and I use to race with him on his S2 one-design.
