Not sure how helpful it is to you, but I found a rig shop in Maine that has the 3/8 cover on hand.

I wish I had found this store before they closed. The owner and his team seemed very knowledgeable. Is there any hope they will ever open another store?

Was a great place to get wetsuits and dive gear for us folks in larger sizes and decent prices.

Victory of hope over experience?
If you can't make money practically in the parking lot of 2 active clubs and in walking distance of AYC and numerous marinas, I am not sure what else to try.

I think a rigging store could be okay as long as your willing to have the rope inventory. Everywhere is currently West Marine only for the most part. I believe Rig Pro in Newport closed as well.
It won't make you rich, but could be a nice side hussle.

Rig Pro closed in June. I was one of their last customers having my mast replaced due to damage when the boat blew off the stands during a storm last spring.
Most everyone there went to the newly formed Newport Rigging Group with the hydraulics going to the newly formed Newport Hydraulics.

I was actually the last employee to work at APS (no im not Kyle). I was the one who locked up on the final day. I worked there for nearly 5 years all said.
