I liked the inexpensive Yale cover that APS sold, I've never seen that anywhere else.  It was just cheap polyester but good for backup halyards and other low use lines.  Maybe I can convince Fisheries that they should stock it.
Not sure how helpful it is to you, but I found a rig shop in Maine that has the 3/8 cover on hand.

tommyDsports going out of business at the end of the month.

Got this yesterday.

Was a great place to get wetsuits and dive gear for us folks in larger sizes and decent prices.

Last call before liquidation:  You are receiving this because you most likely purchased some items from us over that last few years.  We are unfortunately announcing our closing after almost 20 years in the business.  No excuses, no regrets, just moving on.  With that said, we have a fair amount of inventory we need to move along before we do.  We have reduced everything on our website 50-75% off.  With that said, we had to eliminate free shipping, so that will be charged per order based on weight.  To see the discounted price, select the item and move it to your cart.  We priced everything to move quickly.  If you want any large quantities of items, please either call or email, we can probably find a way to make the shipping more affordable.

Please forward on to all your friends, we need all the business we can generate.  Thanks for the memories!

Kent Island!
I wish I had found this store before they closed.  The owner and his team seemed very knowledgeable. Is there any hope they will ever open another store?
Victory of hope over experience?

If you can't make money practically in the parking lot of 2 active clubs and in walking distance of AYC and numerous marinas, I am not sure what else to try.

I think a rigging store could be okay as long as your willing to have the rope inventory. Everywhere is currently West Marine only for the most part. I believe Rig Pro in Newport closed as well.

It won't make you rich, but could be a nice side hussle.

I was actually the last employee to work at APS (no im not Kyle). I was the one who locked up on the final day. I worked there for nearly 5 years all said.
If the place was dead and you were the last to leave, why bother locking up?
