I was going to ask about Prop Coat then search revealed many comments. Among other things $$$$$$$$Prop Coat by Pettit is rebranded Rustoleum Cold Galvanizing per a couple of posters.

Always on the bright side, FastBottoms thought "it's better than nothing."

I was disappointed. The exact bit for so much more. We all know this but if you need the right bit they often have it. They told me they'd match the price but that's not my favorite conversation. Walmart had an off brand for $6.32 but as Slug mentioned ... alloys matter.

Sidebar: In the last couple of days I have talked to many a captain and several yard managers and one high$ yard owner. To a manjack, none had any idea that there might be a better mousetrap.
