As NPR reported this morning, Canadian murders per 100,000 is 1. US murders per 100,000 is 7. Annually.
It's the guns. Duh.
And our stats get worse because of the flood of illegal guns coming in from the US. Hopefully the handgun ban will help.

i missed one from yesterday, the 26th, it happened in Mobile. 4 people were injured. today, the 27th... so far theres only been one, in New Orleans. 5 people injured. but im sure its just...These "mass killings" are little more than a blip in the stats, but it's all anyone can focus on.
