How does the most high tech navy in the world, manage to pull this off twice in such a short period of time ?

And both with loses of lives.  I don't see how his can possibly happen.
Neither will the CNO.......there is gonna be some serious service wide shit roll down........

i served on a previous iteration of the McCain......seems odd to me it bothers me more that it's that boat.......

Maybe someone's hacked into their nav system.....

But you'd think eyeballs would still work..... Unless eye balls did see, and the helm did not respond because it had been hacked.....

Hey Mango.....long time no post!

I do wonder if they still watch stand a observer on the two bridge wings........I seem to remember it was at the discretion of the Skipper but it seems those wings were manned more often than not.

Yeah, four warship collisions in less than a year.  My thoughts, too.

1,
I wonder if it's just not too much dependence on glass panels. Kinda like the SFO crash. Some Ting Wong.

10 dead. Wow.

Read the Chicago Mac posts from this year. Those were sailboats...All recovered in difficult conditions and nobody ever ran into each other.

Talk about a busy lane...
