I have a couple of Antal two speed self tailers sitting around that you can have at a very reasonable price - was used as primaries on my Viper 830 so a pretty good fit size wise - best winches I have ever had

Digging up an old thread. Do you still have the old 16.2's? I'm looking for a drum. PM sent as well.

I do. I never installed the Antals. The Antals are self trailers and will be great for shorthanded stuff but we've been sailing with a full crew. Still rocking the harkens that sound like shit, are not smooth, but get the job done.

For what it's worth, that new Carbon A27 is only using the Harken Snub Air. With the tiny jibs, it may be all it needs. Cheap and light too.

The Harken Snub Air are very light but also the noisiest things I've ever heard.

Re-upping this thread. I have a couple of 16.2's that are currently on a Santana 20 I recently picked up. The boat was dry docked in the heat of CA Central Valley for over 15yrs. So the winches are lightly used, but probably need to be serviced. Are you still looking @Aquila11?

Thanks for the offer. I ended up finding one on ebay in CA, I think it was off an Express 27.

I hope you aren't cutting it up. The 9 series hulls are pretty in demand being much newer than the original deck boats.
