OK smart-arses, it appears it's Ludmilla Creek.  The steel gates in one of the photos are the entrance to Spot On Marine, a travel-lift and hardstand yard.  This fuckwit would have been able to walk ashore at any time - there is an "encampment" of indigenous people nearby - he would have heard the loud music and wailing from his perch in the mangroves.  I think anyone who spends 4 days in that environment is entirely deserving of a few mossie bites!
