A great example has just happened in Australia. The worlds largest sand island lies off the Queensland coast. The state government (possibly the most useless pack of left wing morons cunts to have ever held power) have just changed the name from Fraser Island to its 'traditional' name of K'ari. Every left wing nutjob has gone into rapture about how wonderful this is. Facebook is full of people whoring about how 'this great injustice has been fixed'. Apparently (according to the ALP press release) the 'Traditional owners' have been calling it this for 60 000 years. Yet geologists all agree that it only formed about 5000 years ago. And the spelling is interesting given that the indigenous people never had a written language, so where the fuck the apostrophe came from is a mystery. But the wokists never let facts get in the way of a good bit of tokenism. And for all the money they have spent on signage, press releases and websites could have gone towards actually doing something to help the impoverished aboriginal people of the island...wait. There are no Aboriginal people living on Fraser island. But whitey knows best what is best for the blackfellas.
