Dimorphos is the smaller satellite of Didymos.

My googlefu is no match for you!

I spent at least 4 minutes trying to figure out what was planet and what was satellite/moon.

Thanks for the clarification that we hit Didymos's moon.

How small/big is the moon Dimorphos anyway?

Please use the relative size of any other country or state in 'Murica for comparison.

Jupiter is currently the closest it's been to earth for 60 years. Direct opposition to the sun so it's lit up nice too. Brightest thing in the SW sky right now so it's unmistakable. With a good set of binocs one can just make out some of the moons, like Galileo could with his 17th century crude telescope.
