Farking funni that the SCOMO wants no borders, while imposing one around the entire country.

Typical hypocrite conservative cunt.
Lets see now.

Little to no community transmission in Australia (excepting Victoria where his complaint is not borders but the unnecessary, economically disastrous, severity of the lockdown).

Out of control community transmission most other places with many cases brought back into Australia even from the limited number of returnees we manage to process.

Sorry Astro, wrong again.

You see, the real world requires a scale of judgment, not black and white answers.

Now we have seemed to have thrashed out the subject of Victoria's outbreak.

Maybe we could turn our attention to a national disgrace.

Deaths in the Age Care sector?

Should Scott Morrison resign? Colbeck certainly should.

Or maybe some people Just would prefer not to go there and let everyone get on with their jobs and deal with it later..or not at all?....
The Victorian disaster had three root causes:

1. Bad quarantine arrangements,

2. Failure of Victorian contact tracing; and

3. Vulnerability of aged care.

The first two can be completely sheeted home to the Victorian Government, the third it is a shared responsibilty.

The first the Inquiry is still ongoing. For instance today it is revealed of Victoria's 784 deaths, 768 deaths and 18,000 cases were 'seeded' by the states quarantine failure. Divert and ignore.

The second, contact/tracing it is more than informative about your concept of proper discourse. You are clearly not stupid enough not to support it and the failure well documented. Yet in ALL your posts in this thread  you have NOT mentioned contact/tracing ONCE. Again divert and ignore.

Aged care is a Federal Government responsibility, although the states are responsible for the public health aspects. That means if Victorian Covid health care capacity was provided in part by shunting the elderly out of hospitals and into care homes say untested, that is a state responsibility and they need to be held accountable. Again divert and ignore.

As I said Melie you lie, lie by omission, avoid uncomfortable discourse and divert at every opportunity.

Why? Purely your own political reasons, not one of the greater good.

International arrivals quarantine/isolation a must looking at transmission source history. That was introduced in early March after testing only.

However as in limiting Aust border 'access capacity' HUGE wrong. That's the states dictating that by limiting quarantine capacity. Your state the worst offender.

But you know all that.

Hahahahahahhaaaaa. Good troll & shill tactic, but  again poorly executed Randumb.

Qantas will be paying for the shills here, probably through an industry body.

Scary how far they are willing to go to gaslight any social media and forums.
Sorry astro. I know in the past the suggestion has been you dial down the meds.

But the paranoia is taking over. Dial them back up again

My rabid right wing mate complained that Anna was keeping the border shut "for political reasons, should be opened"

Then she opened it.  He was incensed, claimed she only did it because "there is an election soon."

Funni as ...
She hasn't opened it.

Only opened a 2 way bubble for some northern NSW border shires with QLD and residents only and via a border permit. Balance NSW still closed.

ACT by aircraft only.

But you know all that.

Yes he is wrong as usual.

As for arrivals they fell off a cliff from late March as per latest ABS.

Why drop? Access from April only for Australian citizen, permanent resident or New Zealand citizens usually resident in Australia or exempt by application ie. business etc. 14 day quarantine mandatory. Arrivals Cap of 4k per week post 10 July set by state quarantine capacity. Citizens leaving also restricted except if exempt, to avoid return issues.

Short Term Visitors March - June 340k. Of those 330K in March.

Short Term Residents ( less 1 year away 15 days mean away & 60% holiday) returning March - June 590K. Of those 540K in March.

Not incl in the above are Long Term Residents greater than a year away ie. expats numbers relatively small as they were advised to "stay put" in March.

The Govt currently say 37K trapped over seas by 4k week "all arrivals cap". However a Govt registration platform has only been open a week (spiked 10k in 5 days). Aiirlines Association put it at 100k+ based on flight inquiries.

I see the press are starting to pick up on my theme and pointing out he and the rest of them may have had to lie to avoid spending 25 years in jail under their own oppressive rammed through OHS legislation.
It is still very quiet for something so potentialy explosive.

Self Employed Australia presumably on behalf of contractors wrote to WorkSafe Victoria mid last month requesting them to investigate. So a Govt body investigating the Govt Executive? Mmmmmmm

and if Dan got no.1 right, the flaws of 2 & 3 would never have been exposed.

Very good point though the only upside of exposure is other states  fixing 2 & 3 if not up to scratch.

#2 contact/trace in Qld works well but never put under serious load. #3 looks very good. However #2  fact that they have hung onto border closures so long  (outside the election political) and scared of international Q increase does beg the question... have they really come up to speed on contact/trace??

Fucking better have as no place to hide if they haven't.
