Did you actually read your links?

A proposal to slow f35's and wait for block 4 models and buy a few F15"s for the air superiority role because they aren't building f22's with a commitment to the long term phasing out of all gen 4 aircraft in favour of a long term commitment to the F35.

You are truly an idiot.

The USAF has bet their future on stealth.

Do you not understand what you wrote?

The F-35 is the replacement for the USAF's fleet....
if the F-35 was the replacement for the USAFs fleet, why would they buy the F-15EX?

they are buying the F-15EX’s to replace older models quickly. That is NOT phasing out gen 4 fighters you moron.

The bonus of speeding up the F15 purchase at the expense of the F35 has the bonus that they will get less block 3 and more block 4.

the block 4 will not replace the F-15 or the F22 for that matter.

Australia has to rely on 1 airframe to perform all roles. The USAF does not need to make that compromise.

If you don’t understand something, don’t go trolling.

also don’t contradict yourself, it makes you look stupid.
Your lack of knowledge on this is obvious.

I'm not going to fall into a stupid argument with you because the evidence is that there are no limits to your stupidity.

It's nothing about real knowledge..

I made a post based on my thoughts that our strategic environment has changed and maybe the F35 on it's own may no longer be our answer. I accept that I may be wrong.

The rest of the discussion effectively came down to who could google information and who can read and understand points made in articles written by people with real knowledge.

Easy spat the dummy because he misunderstood what was written about the US's F15EX/F35 procurement. Easy is a part time troll here and generally an argumentative idiot who sooks when he does not win.

@LB 15 just saw the ABC report on the QLD quarantine camps. The Wellcamp facility has twice as many beds as they have had people going through it since it opened. Another opens soon. Someone from the government said they are getting good value for money or something like that. How much it’s costing tax payers to run it is still secret.

QLD. Seems just as corrupt as when the Joh & Flo show was on

Yeap, $190m of waste, I wonder how much the ongoing maintenance/cleaning etc will cost us?

Could be worse - could be the Victorian example

Figures here in Danistan look something like: cost $580 million to build, took 550 staff to run and processed 200 arrivals in 2 months and now shut.

if you didn't know any better you'd swear I was describing an episode of Utopia.

They are fucking incompetent leaders. We were racing our way through the vaccine jabs, so the writing was on the wall for not needing those facilities, before the first sod of soil was turned.

We needed them built as soon as the pandemic hit and the borders closed.

I'll excuse them for not having the foresight to build then, as we had no idea how covid would pan out. It was better to do nothing than do it too late.

I wonder if they can be put on a truck and leased to holiday camps with a pandemic clause allowing the Gov to bring them back. Would cover some of the waste.
