Where is Clockwork listed?
Sorry for late reply. I've been away over the Xmas break
Was on NZ website Trade Me - private sale. Not there today but Anarchy still is. This may just be because the listing expired over Christmas as a lot of NZ shuts down for a couple of weeks and it will be relisted if not sold.

But the Ross 12m also came up on Trade Me last week NZD $120k.

Pretty Boy Floyd is a completely different hull shape and sail plan to the standard Ross 12's. This was a one off build during the IMS period. You can see the difference in the hull shape aft. A lot of SSANZ racing. It's a good price.

Are you sure Floyd is a one off? Isn’t she the same as Big Don’t Argue and Revs? These were all a later generation and a lot more powerful than the original R12s like the Cowboys, Marshall Law, Jesse James etc

I'm pretty sure she was a one off. Commissioned by a Funeral Home owner in Whangaparoa. I was there at the launch as I was working with Murray on a 50' Alloy Cruising Yacht design for an Australian client at the time. Around 1994?? BDA was a wider yacht. Refer attached NZ PHRF certs.

Ok so maybe it’s Revs and BDA that are the same-ish ?

Far from the fastest 369 around, needs all new sails plus a new paint job so the crew can sit on it during summer. Cool interior though 😀

DK, I guess we'll have to take your word for that description.
I worked in IT (i.e. drunk a lot) and my office overlooked several King Street establishments in the early 1990's. At the time I was carefree and single.

Unlike most sailing topics, on this I am far too knowledgable :)

I see the American's Golden Globe entry is for sale in WA. A great adventure that didn't finish as hoped. Needs some work to be seaworthy!
And not quite an ocean racer but the legendary Danger Zone Y88 has popped up in NZ. Offered by an experienced vendor.......

^though she'd struggle around much of Moreton or (Port Phillip) Bay with a 3.6m draft.

No guarantee that these haven't been mentioned previously - I've wasted too much work time to check.

Some interesting choices could be made between NZ and Australian boats. Some have been on the market for a while now.
Higher Ground vs the Shaw above (in NC) vs Mad Jack vs the Mumm 36
The T980 vs the Elliott 9.6
Anarchy vs the GTS 43 vs Hartbreaker
Kia Kaha at under $200k vs Koa vs the H54
Pretty Boy Floyd vs the Class 40 above vs the Farr 40

And my feature boat of the week is probably She's Apples.

I'd love any of them.

Wanna own a TP52 with a drastic IRC optimisation and none of the controversy?
Interesting. TK has form but certainly hasn't set the world on fire in what must be one of the best ex-TPs out there on paper.
