Funny thing, if you have code that compiles perfectly for an Arduino mega, then swap to a Uno and recompile the code - it doesn't. So shit slinging here is a way of sending my mind into the zen state letting it figure out why.

And the answer is - a Uno only has one serial port and a mega has 3. So if you refer to port 3 in the code, the compilation fails. Which sort of makes sense but not what I was expecting. I'd expect a run-time error/failure. But it is what it is and I learned something new, so it's all good. Happy now and I'll depart from the shit-pit for a while. Have fun...

Well, if your parents gave you a decent education you wouldn't think that Greece is an exotic destination for a holiday, and you wouldn’t have to work as a shit kicker in a Library when approaching 70. The hate and jealousy that oozes out of some members of the proletariat towards those that had a good education always amuses me. But then again it wouldn’t have made any difference to you. A good education can’t fix stupid.

Anyway, you would have never had fitted in. Private schools can be tough for people with no athletic ability , a chip on their shoulder and a head like a beaten favourite…

The mean girls would have had a field day with you.

Don't take that too far. I came out of a Western Sydney high school. We graduated almost as many to Long Bay as to university.

I'd never have fitted in at a private school either, I'm happy to say. But I did beat most of them academically.

But just like the Queensland coach did for a decade, they are about to have their hopes and dreams shattered by a young fullback from Queensland. The Reece Walsh era starts tonight and he is going to spend the next ten years breaking the heart of every NSW league fan. Best of all this is 'Freddy the fruitcakes' last series as blues coach. Nothing official yet but once they have been humiliated yet again by Queensland they will call for his head. People wonder how such a powerhouse like NSW keeps losing. Well look no further than the US military. They haven't won a game since they played Japan in the 1945 grand final.
