I guess now we know where Dog 2.0 gets his information.

Well, It is well reported now with named sources from several news outlets including NY Times that while there were balloon flights during Trump, They were undectected by NORAD who classified some as 'UFO's. Therefore, there were no briefings given to Trump, Esper and others who reported their experiences and knowledge of the incidents accurately. Meanwhile the 'Biden Balloon' was only divulged to the public AFTER some Montana ranchers spotted and reported it. Don't you feel stupid (again) by letting your blind hatred lead you around by the nose now?

Top general says Trump-era spy balloons flew over the U.S. undetected

Gen. Glen VanHerck cited a "gap" in capability that caused the DoD to miss the incursions.

All those drug smugglers wasting money on semisubmersibles, airplanes, false compartments in containers, etc. All they needed was some balloons and air tags.
Why do that when they can just drive a Ryder rental truck across the El Paso border?

The General is exactly right. Trump and the Pentagon did not know about the three balloons.

From the article I previously posted:
White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that after Biden took office, the U.S. “enhanced our surveillance of our territorial airspace, we enhanced our capacity to be able to detect things that the Trump administration was unable to detect.”

As usual, you are late to the party. Among others, posts #344 and #440 already stated this.

The story changes, and then changes again,
, and then "evolves" into ever more "interesting" things.

(insert bright purple) , and our professionals couldn't track it.

, and they couldn't shoot it down in the Gulf of Alaska ,,

, and they couldn't kill it over British Ccolumbia
, where it could fall in a forest .

? so, we have to resort to this ?

"Stories" tend to "change" as more evidence is gathered and shared.

You sound like one of those "the Science was WRONG" buffoons.

The failure of the intelligence community to publicize every detail is proof positive that they don’t know anything. Why won’t they share it with us?

but if they do. …
how dare the IC put us in danger by spilling the beans. Unconscionable!

Some of us have a life outside of the PA forum on SA. While others have 52,500 posts. If you averaged 20 seconds per post (generous) that's about 7 weeks working 9-5 ( with no breaks at all) of your life you have wasted making a lying fool of yourself. Feel better?

OTOH some PA dwellers change their ID often so their "post count" is highly deceptive... like everything they post

When you return to a thread, do you go to the most recent post since you left?

Or, do you simply click on the last post?

I ask because a simple reading of new posts would allow you to keep up.

Why do you suppose Blinkin's China trip was postponed only after the public learned of the balloon.

I would also claim I have a life outside of PA if I got my ass kicked as often as you do.
