The F35 has a ceiling above 50,000ft. The Air Force won't say how high, but I presume it is high enough to shoot down if necessary. Although by doing so, they would reveal far too much of the F35 capabilities, something I doubt they want to do.

F22 Raptors have a ceiling abv 50,000 feet and carry precision guided missles with 12 miles range. I dont think that is giving away any secrets to China (assuming they have Wikipedia) and this is not anything more than a turkey shoot for the USAF. F15s 60,000 ft

Maybe still waiting for 1 or 2 knuckelheads to get out of the way
