You don't understand. Simply owning such a thing in direct defiance of TeamD is a public nuisance and is costing lives. All gun owners are responsible for the actions of a handful of criminals.

That's why our more enlightened states declare ownership of guns and gun parts a public nuisance and buyback the offending property without compensation. At least, they buyback all the ones that are turned in by gun owners who are persuaded that we are responsible for criminal behavior. So very, very few, but hope springs eternal.

It's not just TeamD players. As mentioned in this thread, Trump expressed support for Feinstein's efforts to ban battlefield .22's. That make me pretty discontented with him, though not as discontened as when he usurped the power to ban bump stocka.

The fact is, you've said that here many times. Have you ever copy and pasted what you've said here and put it in an envelope to any of the hundreds of Congresscritters who passed a ban treating them the same?

Because as long as they treat them the same, I'm going to continue to act like they treat them the same. Telling me to change won't work. The law will have to change or I will continue to talk about what it says.

I bought my first 30 round magazines during that ban. Those were the days.

It didn't cover battlefield .22's back then, by the way, so SOME people might say they passed a different law in the House this time around. Not me. As long as grabbers say that battlefield .22's are suitable militia weapons, I'm going with that line.
