Never heard anything like that, in this case. I'd be willing to bet that he shouted and cursed at the border police and DARED them to try and find his guns. He was exactly that kind of Ugly American. His wife also loved the sound of her own voice, usually bragging about how much money her daughter in New York made.
We met a lot of really nice people cruising, this couple was not among them. My wife was very close friends with a woman who was close friends with this woman; so I spent some time forced into their company.

Why would it matter if a shotgun, battlefield or otherwise, could do what an AR or a battlefield .22 could do?
If called for militia service, to resist a nincomcoup for example, which do you think would be a better militia weapon: a battlefield .22 pistol like mine, something we know is constitutionally protected like Dick Heller's 9 round .22 revolver (BACK THE BLUE), or an AR-15 in .223 that expert testimony says could cut a person right in half?

Since this thread was started by a poster on my ignore list I only see it when the most recent post shows up from the main screen. Just as well as I don't need to see the rantings of masturbatory gun fetishists who don't give a shit about anything but their lust for guns. Over the last decade I have gone from thinking about buying a new gun (it's been 20 years) to ban anything and everything that uses the .223 and that is for a start. I would include making it very difficult and expensive to purchase that ammo as well. It won't interfere with those I know who hoard massive numbers of those but could at least slow it down. I wouldn't mind something in .22 since I have a stock of ammo since a long time ago but the prices of those both long and handgun are now ridiculous. So, nope and certainly not battlefield dogballs.

No, I'm not. Your second question assumes a wrong answer and should be something about fantasies of harm coming from asking simple questions.
