GOP's Probe Into Hunter Biden Risks Political Blowback
(Bloomberg) -- The House Republican investigation into the financial dealings of President Joe Biden’s family risks turning off more voters than it attracts.
The Biden-centric investigation led by the Oversight and Accountability Committee kicks off Wednesday morning, just hours after the president delivers his State of the Union address to Congress. At the center of the probe is the contents of the laptop of Biden’s son Hunter — a topic that’s been a far-right preoccupation since 2020.
Yet a series of recent polls show the majority of Americans just aren’t that interested in what may or may not be on Hunter Biden’s hard drive.

Polling released last week by the Pew Research Center showed that as clashes over the debt ceiling and other key issues intensify, 65% of American adults surveyed said they are concerned Republicans would focus too much on investigating the Biden administration. A CNN poll released Jan. 26 found that 73% of American adults think House Republicans haven’t paid enough attention to the country’s most pressing problems.

Comer called Biden a liar today, at the start of a hearing that ran for >6 hours and yet didn’t reveal any new evidence pertaining to the president.
In fact, we learned that Trump and his team had Twitter take down insulting tweets, and that Twitter execs bent over backwards to avoid angering reich wingers.
So, we’ve got @Dog 2.0 ‘s handlers maling baseless accusations and demonstrating their own hypocrisy live and on YouTube while wasting our tax dollars threatening Twitter executives with arrest for nonexistent crimes.

Well, he was in Delaware. That sure looks like his signature on a repair order. The customer reeked of booze and entitlement. There's an awful lot of Hunter Biden information on the machines the mystery customer dropped off. So it's just possible that the mystery customer was, in fact, Hunter Biden.

So, you’re back to accusing Biden of lying without bothering to back it up, and want him arrested? Impeached? Investigated ad nauseum? for turning documents over to the National Archives when they were found.
Why don’t you develop an interest in helping America and furthering the lives of citizens? Think about something productive for a change, instead of this infantile bullshit.

The lives of citizens, really. I believe the decline in real wages, the rising crime, the millions of illegal aliens crossing a non-existent border, the embarrassment of Afghanistan and the Chinese balloon, the price of food, the price of gas even after draining the strategic reserves, the price of everything else, the stock market and declining 401k's, mortgage rates, the labor participation rate, borrowing 4 trillion in two years, are all not helpful for America and furthering the lives of its citizens.
Joe Biden is a liar, but worse, he's a failure which is why only 37% of his own party want him to run again.

Nice try blaming economic effects of the pandemic on Biden, but Democrat recovery bills have us back on track by improving infrastructure, increasing wages paid and creating American manufacturing jobs.
Our fed is having modest success tackling worldwide inflation, and shooting down the balloon over water allowed our divers to recover the apparatus intact, as opposed to being strewn over the countryside possibly killing some poor citizen whose death you’d blame on Biden.
And now that Republicans have forcefully rejected any notion of slashing Soc Security or Medicare on live TV with the world watching, it’s clear that Biden’s plan to make sure the ultra wealthy and enormous corporations have to pay their fair share ought to receive your support.
But your “party over country” attitude means you support Trumps tax cuts for the rich over your professed desire for a balanced budget that has only become important to you after he and his team left office.
They did their best to bankrupt America, and you supported that effort in the name of “job creation.” Too bad for you more jobs have been created by Biden in two years than any other president in history.
You could learn a lot from Biden. But you just flood the zone with shit and baseless accusations.
