Two old guys, who should know better,  got tired of beating the fleet off the line only to be passed at the weather mark :D

One day at the the January Richmond Midwinters  and on the first reach an executive decision was made - we needed a new boat to put the whipper snappers in their place

Kris and Kim at Henderson Boats agreed to build us a new Bieker 6 - These peeps are passionate about our boat - and doing and incredible build - we think she is beautiful

Gaze your eyes on  newest International 14 - USA 1202 - "Blue Balls"

What rig is going on there? Looks like a 2 spreader from the tack position.

Does Woody have a new home? Or is there another 2 boat program out of Richmond?

The boat looks great! Great choice of color. I wish Hendo was still documenting his builds in the 14 forum.

Hendo is building the rig too.   Stiffy with carbon sail track and CST plunger.  Yes Dual Spreaders.

Just picked up the Tuttle Rudder this afternoon - a work of art

Here are the WaterRat t-foil picts

Mr. Tuttle says these 505 rudders work great on a 14, albeit with a one lateral modification!

Essentially a square dimensionally.

Spruce spline from rudder head to just below the t-foil.

T-foils are solid carbon.

The orthogonal interface is offset forward to reduce the leading cross section.

From the looks of this thing there is going to be plenty of control in the back of the boat.

(Can the driver hurt his wrist adjusting this thing?)

maybe he’s mellowed?

ha!

of course, they are wrapped....
