Read my post. I posted the ad and paid for it. When it didn't appear I contacted the site .administration. No response. after a day I again contacted site administration. No response. Honestly, these days if you get something done or resolved within 5 business days, IMO you are golden. Our business is still seeing huge delays on supplies and raw materials. Third-party trucking slow, expensive with lots of screw-ups. And most of this slowdown in US commerce is due to shorthandedness. You retired fuckers need to go back to work at least part-time...help take care of this mess! :lol:

Everything on the net is in a database dished up by code and flashes of light (electrons). When you buy an Ad to sell your boat, you upload to a database some text and photos. Then you pay or maybe the other way around. They take you money instantly and after the upload, when someone looks at the For Sale Ads, your shit should be there. It really is that simple, unless something is really fucked. which should mean other things here should be fucked up. Maybe they are screening the photos to make sure Sailorman was not paying to sell his body (Porn)

LOL, whatever the delay was, it required a human to fix it. As does most stuff, even in e-businesses. We have an online section of our biz. I've got 3 people doing customer service and site work. But some customers will still get indignant because things don't "automatically" get fixed.
The coming-out-of-retirement comment was admittedly a troll. It certainly worked! But the truth is, even though a lot of people want to blame the "welfare-collecting poor" for not re-joining the workforce, a fair share of the workforce shrinkage was caused people deciding to retire from full- or part-time work. Shrug. It is what it is. While it is difficult to hire these days, the good news for us retirement-age guys (I'm nearly there) is that we can work as long as we want to. That wasn't always the case; I remember a number of my father's generation who were forced to retire when they wanted to continue in their careers.
