Upwind and downwind filter would be good... if you fancy playing, but if not then grabbing the files of you and I'll try and play myself.

@erdb is awesome. another occasional poster here who has done some superb AC stat analysis is @dorox.

I'd be very interested on how you guys do the VPP. I was learning as I was developing it, and while it seemed to match real-life performance pretty well, it wasn't a professional approach by any means.

I have to look into those tools I developed for analyzing race data and figure out again how to use them) It's a silly question, but how do I send you the files? Can I attach csv files to a post?

More nice drone footage from the TOR, including for the cinematic flightpath 'moves' flown. I wish the AC Recon Teams were permitted to use drones, including for the great sail shapes views you can get.

On a distantly related note, NASA is supporting the design of higher aspect ratio wing commercial jet that can get 10-40% better efficiency. This video talks about the program and he briefly mentions that NASA even worked on flaps that were a part of the wing and ones that moved and were curved. He doesn’t give much info, but there should be a place to find out more of the details.

Imagine they are pricey. This is the 4th hull, there is a vid on that channel from 7 mo’s ago showing 3 of them racing and the lead boat looked to be sailing well but none of them had the WW foil raised at any time.

Still, cool trickle down possibility.
