Hey wokesters ... are you ok with these “body modifications”? After all, like gender affirming surgery, they are being executed to make the subjects bodies conform to their self image. Or is this kind of mutilation indicative of a mental condition that should be treated with therapy not with a scalpel. Should society stand by and allow the mentally ill to harm themselves?

I have seen a few body modifications that I think went too far, but it isn't my body or my money. On the other hand, think of the savings in PFDs (y)

Yes, I’m ok with the procedures being made available by surgeons and hospitals.

My interactions with both patients and the child of a friend who have gone through or are going through their transitions has led me to witness some of their experience.

But don’t let that get in the way of your biased opinion which is based on… what exactly?

@Dog 2.0 , what is your relevant experience or knowledge of this topic, or are you “just asking interesting questions.”

On another note, you should read up on what several nefarious historic figures thought of the "mentally ill".
