Democracy is hard. Living with people different from you is hard.

This is the burden trans kids have to endure EVERY DAY.

@Dog 2.0, Vicki and lavender pole can’t do it for the length of a conversation. Intolerant assholes like them are largely why trans kids live in fear, shame and risk of suicide and violence. Much of the mental anguish that comes from being trans is being a target of hate for ignorant bigots who can’t mind their own business.

@Dog 2.0 desperately wants to be the victim. He covets the status trans kids have because of their small numbers and the malevolence and violence of assholes.

@Dog 2.0 doesn't want to learn anything about trans kids, doesn't want to meet them much less "allow" them to have opportunities the modern world can provide to help them become comfortable in society and with their own bodies.

@Dog 2.0 wants to be left alone so he can impose his beliefs on people he knows nothing about.

Unlike @Dog 2.0, I don't seek to limit his freedoms by limiting his access to medical care. I don't try to label him with some psychological diagnosis without proper expertise and the opportunity to examine him closely.

And unlike him, I base my criticism on knowledge of my subject.
