The degree to which you suffer mental anguish and distress over your gender identity MIGHT help substantiate the diagnosis of gender dysphoria if it were impairing your ability to function in society or in your personal relationships.

But I’d have to meet you, discuss these and other issues, possibly order lab tests and watch your response to therapies. And all that is assuming I had training specific to this condition and had completed more training in psychiatry in general.

Salient points for you in this post:

1. Not all transgenders suffer dysphoria
2. There are specific diagnostic criteria
3. An examination is necessary, diagnosis cannot be done over the phone or without meeting the patient
4. Training is necessary

I get that you are non-medical, but you really need to improve your reading comprehension skills.

Stay in your lane, and stop diagnosing people with psych conditions you don’t understand and aren’t qualified to make.

And unless you want to make tattoos, piercings, tummy tucks and other cosmetic surgeries illegal quit trying to legislate medical therapies based on your ignorant bias.

Sounds like she was an evil shooter.

Perhaps there was a history of bullying by ignorant bigots involved with her psychopathy, but who knows?

Perhaps a more tolerant society with healthier attitudes towards diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders would’ve helped prevent this tragedy.

Or maybe just better gun control. What is your point?

I don’t think that’s fair at all. And I don’t think there is a consensus among card-carrying libs on trans athletes competing at any level without special scoring systems.

For one thing, I never got my card.
