It's a parody on Auntie Liz, yes?
Yes. She's just published a 4000 word essay in the Torygraph on how she was right but robbed and the Spectator, Times and various right-wing blogs are suddenly packed with stories on how time will prove her right. Clearly a coordinated campaign. If you have better things to do than read that stuff, good for you. Robert Hutton's spoof is IMO superb.

The undemocratic Lords are debating the 'Brexit Freedoms Bill' now, with a number of amendments proposed. One of these would stop the government power grab and restore these powers to parliament. That would be fun.

Zelensky in London today addressing Parliament. A packed auditorium at Westminster Hall.

Britain can be rightly proud of being the leading supporter of Ukraine in Europe. Head and shoulders above any other nation or indeed that bastion of hot air and bullshit in Brussels and Strasbourg.

A good mountain biking spot near me is now basically closed for 6 months as it hosts intensive training for Ukrainian military. We have trained over 10,000 troops now and are adding pilot training in modern NATO jets too. It is reported we'll be sending modern aircraft too (F16/F35s)

John Major is best known for shagging Edwina Curry. He is also signed the Maastricht Treaty saying that it "marked the end of the political project" in Brussels. We know of course that it was just the beginning of the next phase of the superstate. Without the EEC/EC/EU John Major has literally no legacy aside from establishing the National Lottery. So of course he's against Brexit, to be pro he would have to admit Maastricht was a mistake. He only got that through Parliament by blackmailing Tory MPs with the threat of an general election which they would have lost as Major was seen as such a flop.

Yes, he does deserve some credit for what appears to be the only thing he's ever done right.

It's not clear that pretty much anyone else in his position wouldn't have done it at least as well but he was the one in the hot seat and didn't muck it up: Given his track record, it's very much the high point of his career.
He should quit while he's ahead, drop out of politics and the media spotlight and try and ensure that it's what he's remembered for.

He won't, though; he's incapable of it.

Wasn't the IMF the very organisation that complained that the UK cutting taxes ( Truss ) was totally wrong and is now the very organisation canning the UK for having to high taxes.
looks like a map of growth rates...don't see UK taxes mentioned there at all.

Totally a Brexit parody account, no way this is a real person.

Jamba is a cult member. Truth and humanity be damned.

British court decided that NIP is constitutional.
EU preparing for trade war if retained EU law get replaced by laws that lower the level playing field. Commission is set up to prepare for that. Maybe not needed, but better to be prepared. It is written in the trade deal that level playing field should be remained.

Ah but you see if you actually lived in the UK and actually researched all information available you would know that the IMF has downgraded the growth rate of the UK due to what it deems too high taxes amongst other factors, you guessed it energy prices ( not sure why Germany isn't being treated the same ).

And yet what was it only a few months ago they warned Kwasi of too low taxes.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/imf-kwarteng-truss-tax-cuts-b2176757.html

Anyway historically the IMF has been a tad shall we say inaccurate in their predictions of the UK's economy over its past predictions.

You will be pleased to see that Brexit was no longer mentioned by the IMF in its latest report

The IMF, which works to stabilise economic growth, said it had downgraded its forecast for the UK because of its high energy prices, rising mortgage costs and increased taxes, as well as persistent worker shortages. It did not mention Brexit in its report as a factor for the UK not performing as well as others. Today marks three years since the UK left the EU.

So having looked in from all the way over there in cold old Alaska kdock44, the only parody account is what seems some dumb Seppo trying to poke his nose into something of which he knows very little actual facts about.
