I'm guessing the cruising around there is pretty good?

So 1.1 Meters in the channel entrance at the lowest tide with a max tide height of around 4 meters every now and then so would need to wait for high tide but if you got in the boat would be sitting on it's keel at some point with a draft of around 3.5 meters (TP52) I wouldn't be going in there unless local knowledge says otherwise?

Great shot really emphasizes how they have moved the mast back compared to their original design.

The Indian has slowed to 7.6 knots with oats 7.0 knots but back in the fleet Stefan only doing 3 knots one would think in these conditions the skinny twins will get past Andoo.

It was an interesting start. boats on port were able to point within 20-30 degrees of where they needed to go. WOXI started on starboard and pushed their way through the spectator fleet behind us.

Andoo the Indian all powered up now and making some gains on the skinny cousins. Alive and No Limit having a match race with Stefan Racing way back in the fleet she seems worse than Comanche in the light.

Woke up this morning surprised to see Andoo in front of the skinny cousins after hours and hours of light conditions. Normally Oats and BJ would have left Comanche in their wakes but full credit to Winning JR and his team defies the laws of drag. If Oats and BJ couldn't beat Andoo in these conditions when will they? Throw in an Orma Trimaran for good measure but I suspect the Orma will get Andoo in the next couple of hours? Wharro will be pissed he is behind 2 x 60 footers and I wonder if Wharro will be in the market for a 100 footer in 2023.?

The Indian then BJ and XI finishing now. Great race for the 100's. The 40 footers are in unknown territory now they have past Gladstone and Keppel. All the jokes would have been used by the third sunset. On the third morning the crew start pooling the durries.

I’m hoping to get hold of the engineering drawings for the bearing, I have been told it’s a private parts bearing.
If anyone knows how to contact Hugh Welbourn or someone else who have the bearing drawings I would very much appreciate the help

I’m hoping to get hold of the engineering drawings for the bearing, I have been told it’s a private parts bearing.
If anyone knows how to contact Hugh Welbourn or someone else who have the bearing drawings I would very much appreciate the help

Interesting to see the distance sailed by the 100's. Comanche also sailed the most distance so very surprised Comanche was able to win this race given the light conditions. Has she now made the RP cousins obsolete? Or was it better navigating on Andoo?
