well i would still consider it quite new taking into account the amount of sailing it has done. How many races at Key West and now this? Pretty new in my eyes.
You must new boats quite often if u think 6 months is old! :p
No but i've seen them training quite a bit in the solent

I understand it was up and down all day but no more than 10 knots.

I suspect we have found the weaker aspect to Lady Courrier!

Delighted to see Quokka having an excellent regatta after the stick they got on here a few weeks ago.

With the rating sorted and a bit of time on the water, she is well on the pace.

Well done John Corby and the team.

Good effort to Peter and the team, bodes well for the CC with Fair Do's winning class, just need Erivale to regain the recent form and we have a potential win

Well said, good for Quokka. Watching them and Rosie go at it match racing style was interesting today. Overall Quokka seemed to have the better of it when a bit of breeze came in, be interesting to see how that translates to late July in the solent.....Nothing came close to either of them in small boats though, however did hear NNF didn't run with top crew (and got twated by a J!)

Also heard Errivale didn't have J Otter and full crew on board, hence slightly off results

Do I recall a comment from a few weeks ago from John Corby about him gettting fucked over by the rating office before and it being no big deal?

you are right and well done to JC and Quokka!

Also, I spotted the new Mills IRC68 Alegre on the entry list. Is she racing? It might mess the Class SZ and Z courses up a bit because she will need much longer courses.
If anyone is on the water, dish the goss.
For those of you interested in the Mills 68 Alegre I have posted some video and stills taken at the UK IRC Nationals over the weekend on my website www.offshorerules.com.

Anyone know what happened to the X-35 Exaltation in class 2?They seem to have a DNF for race 2 and then no starts after that

They had a collision with a Dutch or Belgian boat at the windward mark and lost their stemhead fitting. Fortunate their rig stayed up. They won the protest. apparently a fairly rash move just left them with nowhere to go.

Well Sunday's postponement resulted in some fun when the entire fleet was circling the Russian VO70:

The chines and 'hollows' look really interesting from up close.

Anyone who was on the water that could report on the pace of the new Archambault 40 RC...?

(Aria is one of the few prototypes built to the design before the start of the production, whereas British Soldier is one of the production one i believe)

Thanks
