I honestly don't know, but i would be surprised if it's faster...

It has the ability to hang in with many 40 footers upwind and 52 footers offwind in planing conditions.

We are expecting 20 boats at Cowes this year, many of them previous owners of much larger and more expensive boats.

There must be a logical reason for this.

In Narragansett Bay the M32 rates 30 and the C&C rates 42. In the Gulf PHRF the M32 rates 15 and the C&C rates 39. If what you say is true, then the C&C is not rated properly at all.

Both Mills designed. The Cape looks like a C&C 2.0 designed with all the improvements including a real builders database on weight differences instead of the cardboard data system.

DOH! Ok, the Cape 31... that may be close to the M32. in IRC the m32 is around 1.174 and the Cape 31 is around 1.15
