Can I please request that the RC/PRO put the virtual finish line out into the traditionally consistent breeze line? That last 10 miles (+/-) were terrible. It's a virtual line. Not like a lot of people are on the line to "spectate".

Geeze, they've already moved the line three or four times in the last fourty years that I've done this race. Cabo Falso is pretty consistent for breeze. Much better than all the way to Sol Mar.

Everyone is going to end up at the party. Why not finish the race 20 miles up the coast in the most reliable breeze on average?

It doesn't matter where the finish line is for Cabo or PV. It is always going to be about the time of day. We had a lovely finish at 1148. Zephyrus, Bolt and Argo 4 not so much several hours earlier.
They should have slowed down!

Another Cabo in the books. Getting out of town was a bit of chutes and ladders It was dark, cloudy and challenging the first two nights. We got a fun pre sunrise run above Cedros and and even better blast after dark that evening.
The reality versus the models were very challenging . But, It was great gelling with a new crew. And we are looking forward to Transpac.

Thanks very much. We fought really hard to break away from the pack and catch Ground Hog day after they Westerly jumped 20+ miles out of the Islands. Boat did great, crew did great and rewatching felt pretty good about my navigation decisions.

Can someone educate me on the mods to Fast Exit II? All of the volume added to the bow forward of the chainplates looks like major, major surgery. Did they add structure and a second hull up there or cut the hull off and graft a new one on?
They basically cut the front of and gafted a new bow section on.
