Both? How about not capable of doing either one
Canada is the poster child for fervently hoping we didn't need a military anymore other than for SAR,
That will come as a huge surprise to the huge corporations that fuelled the 'Socialists' war machine. Is PP stupid/ignorant or does he just think voters are? Even using terms like 'woke left' will not win him many votes from mainstream voters. Bernier's party may be in trouble though.
Personally I pay my taxes and vote, and then occasionally vent about how poorly equipped our troops are., no offense intended,
? does this give a "pause for thought" both nationally and personally ?

My father used MAID this year to end his life. Had it not been available, he would have had a prolonged and very uncomfortable death. He knew this and chose the best option. The safety protocols in place for MAID, which I observed first hand, are solid.
We are working on ways to enable people to access this program if they become mentally unable to make an informed choice at the end - Alzheimers, for example. It will be interesting to see where that goes. Personally, I hope they get there, rotting away in an Alzheimers ward is not anything I would want for anyone or their families.
It isn't about saving money for the medical system - it about quality of life, and death.
