One thing Canada needs is less citizen brutality against the police. The weirdo who shot the Mounties in Moncton, yeah;-the survivalist shop where he legally purchased firearms in Riverview NB, was across the road from where I used to live.

I used to think that survivalists were amusing eccentrics until that happened. It's kind of of a unique dynamic, because the goldbugs and and survivalists who sell this stuff are not young-they are fat old men who are going to eat Spam and communicate from their bunker in Morse, in a worst case scenario. That would be better than having their wife bitch at them.

In the meantime, they suck young men who maybe really can't find a girlfriend (Hint!, girls like crepes with fresh strawberries and not Spam), into the "incel" thing-and thus into their fantasy world.

Yeah, yeah; PP is a joke now. I remember well when Harper was too "wooden" to ever be PM. If a dozen eggs keep costing eight bucks and gas costs two bucks a liter, then PP is in the game. I realize these are things outside of JT's control-but the unwashed masses do not.

Every time we have elected a Conservative government out of disgust at the Liberals we have ended up even more disgusted. But I guess we have to do it from time to time to keep the Libs from getting too comfortable.

We buy free range eggs for $7. Regular eggs are $4/doz. You must live in a high-cost neighbourhood.

Point Grey; Point Grey people have their bicycle mechanic drive a van to their house to fix their bicycle in order to save the environment. Whenever I see guys my age in spandex riding a ten speed-I thank God my father was in the navy and thought his offspring should be able to handle small craft. Five thousand dollars for a bicycle that might be swiped-that is a lot of boat bucks especially in Laser/ILCA. Seriously-these dudes bring their bicycles into Starbucks.

That part of town absolutely defines white privilege.

Remember the PG / Arbutus woman who was on the TV news years ago protesting running what became the Cambie Skytrain down the Arbutus corridor?

"We are the creme de la creme".

She was actually interviewed on the 6:00 news saying that. :ROFLMAO:

Besides being so incredibly clueless as to actually voice it, she wasn't even right.

Everyone knows that West Van is where the true creme de la creme live.

I'm going to leave for Thailand. Their health care system functions there. It is white supremacy shoved in my face when I have to use Turddoo Airport-named after someone who supported residential schools, and thought Elisabeth II was a joke.

John Tory obviously has way, way, more personal integrity than Bill Clinton. No excuses like "It's all different in France" and parsing about comprises sex.
Speculation is that he is trying to get ahead of something big coming our way soon. Maybe Doug Ford will appoint his nephew as mayor of TO.
