Why Canada hasn't done this years ago is beyond me,
We should also include removing interprovincial trade barriers.

PP, is not federally electable, he would never win Quebec and Ontario, the two provinces that decide Canada's federal government.

Can't argue with him there - requiring doctors to re-qualify if they move provinces is outrageous - we are one country.

A guy in my boatyard is a Persian surgeon - came here when the mullahs took over. He spent 2 years qualifying in Ontario - which is fine as foreign quals are not necessarily up to our standards.

BUT

He and his wife decided to move to B.C. and he would have had to do it again.

He said fuck it and got a job in the boatyard.

This in a province where 20% of the population can't find a GP and have to resort to clinics.
