At some moments very tall dock piles are visible in the video, indicating a pretty significant tidal range in the area. The boat could have been over where it got stuck at high tide. The rudder seems to be on concrete, not a floating pontoon. How does a falling tide put the rudder on a pontoon? Not that I have a better theory.
During a hurricane we had a couple shallow draft boats with too long dock lines land on the dock instead of the water as the tide receded, we pushed them in before it was too late. How does a falling tide put the rudder on a pontoon? Not that I have a better theory.
