Climate change is not the problem.

Back in the late 70's under Jimmy's administration many of the towns in Lake County, IN had big billboards bragging about the new sewer project.

The Feds paid 2/3?
The State 1/6?
Locals 1/6?

The money went to local contractors and their employees. A public/private partnership.

We used to mess about on Cedar Lake back in the 60's-70's and it was green and stunk from the septic tanks. Under the EPA, sewers were installed. When I bought my new Hobie 16 in 1984 we took it there for its maiden voyage. Guess what, the water was clear.

It is too bad the Florida did not take advantage of this program. Maybe the Indian River Lagoon would be better place for Manatees to live. And here homeowners will be paying their own big bucks to get sewers.

...of The United States in order to form a more perfect union.
The environmental movement came from the population just like the civil rights movement.
LBJ’s Great Society was nothing more than inserting itself in the natural progression of societal advancement, problem with the government is that a problem is never solved, although it has been , and the government never leaves that role. Department of Education, Department of Energy, the EPA , the government pats itself on its back for identifying problems that are never solved and the need for more government/ money

Channeling your inner Reagan? Business has one purpose - to make money. That leaves government with the responsibility to monitor and regulate them.

Fools and clowns work to discredit that for their own benefit. It's possible some of you are both.

Government …your elected officials , get into office by feeding off cooperate interests

they do not represent the voter…only the special interests that appointed them to office

Now ESG has been allowed into the trillions of workers 401 K
The fox is now in the hen house, the skimming of returns has begun.
Just as the politicians exited the Social Security Trust Fund and rolled it into the general budget, a generalization, the point is that the primary interest of the funds was no longer those that paid in , it became the greater good. Which ain’t so good unless you are directing the funds into a place insiders benefit the most.

Some truth there but I believe you should write corporate? In either case your team doesn't even pretend to represent anyone but the Oligarchs. So, fail comrade.

Capitalism at its finest, CEO got his, Stockholders got theirs, workers got FUCKED
And your point is? Many of us have fought for workers rights and against the encroachment of money into politics for decades. We also resist the move to autocratic rule that one party is working hard to create.
But thanks for playing.

edit: and read back to post 402 - it's about the purpose of government.

Well it is "a" reality, just as much as
https://www.newscientist.com/article/2290944-how-electrification-is-changing-mining/
Sodium ion batteries should replace lithium for many applications within a few years.
https://www.blackridgeresearch.com/blog/the-future-roadmap-for-sodium-na-ion-batteries
I am sure there is a future for Sodium-Ion batteries but the fact that they are twice as heavy per energy storage seem to remove tham from the automotive industry. They would be good in houses to store the output of solar or wind energy.
