Michigan 45-23. Not in my wildest dreams. OSU likely out of any playoff consideration. UM had some big plays to stay in the game in the first half. Killed it in the 2nd. UM will get at least a handful of 1st place votes.

Guess you gotta get #1 out of the way for that to happen...Ooooops!...
damn , only shot ourselves in the foot about 10 times... trick play after the safety? c'mon... we had them down, gave them hope... last fumble should have been a fair catch, needed 25 yards or so to kick the game winner... fuck... DJ will start the ACC championship and if we win that one, Cade needs to start the bowl game... DJ era is done... let him transfer

Holy shit did Florida and Carolina go in different directions after the Gators whooped them two weeks ago. Cocks beat two top ten teams and Gators laid an egg vs Vandy and couldn’t beat the refs and the girls’ school. Unreal.

Florida should have sold the farm and bought Kiffen.

Jimbo's got no business in Rat Mouth.
I don’t think Kiffin is the right fit for Florida. He has seen the results of high end SEC pressure already. He’s in the perfect place for him now. Ten wins a year there and he’s a hero. Gator nation will roast him for that unless there’s a Natty every couple years. No delusional expectations in Oxford. Lane does have the hottest ex wife in CFB tho.

How will a 6-6 season sit with the UF powers? Losing conference record IIRC as well. One more year...at best I assume.

Fakenews said this was the year UF would regain their rightful position. I hope he was wrong. UF has been too good for too many years to not be a contender.

Great game. Might have won Williams the Heisman and because the Fuckeyes lost so badly, put SC in control of their own destiny for a playoff slot.
Should be... The Trojans are 4th in the AP poll today.

Next challenge is the Utes next Sat in a grudge match for all the Pac-12 marbles. Lost Wages, here we come!

FightON!!!

OK….the current Cotton bowl prediction is PSU vs Tulane

PSU may be overrated in the top 10 and Tulane may be way better than it’s 18 ranking…it could be a great game. . But how the hell does 18 ranked anyone get into a new years six??

And the OSU coach has been saying his team is just as good as Michigan and pointing out the halftime score…
PSU was ahead of OSU at halftime and was nkybtwo points down to Michigan. It seems to me OSU is a lot closer to PSU’s level than Michigan’s.

If they played ten times I think OSU would lose seven or eight times to Michigan and three times to PSU.
Michigan might beat PSU all ten times.

Then again Maryland rolled up 64 points against both UM and OSU while PSU didn’t let Maryland score at all.

Don’t be silly.

don’t be silly. Year 1, with all kinds of issues, the offense is just outside the top ten in FBS on yards per play. They are scoring at an obscene rate. Their defense is among the worst in FbS and probably the worst Florida defense since before any of us were born. He inherited shit and nobody can polish a turd. He will get at least another year or two to get his players in place. Those of us who watch closely see huge changes in the way the staff works the recruiting trail, and results from that effort.

As I tell the kids on Gator Twitter when they bitch about 6-6 being the end of the world…I’m an old fart and a long time gator fan. Anyone who wants to tell me that 6-6 in the first year is the end of the world can do so only after allowing me the opportunity to regale you with tales of the 0-10-1 team from 1979? I know suffering and 6-6 ain’t it.

The only thing that has disappointed me this season is hearing that Gator great Brandon Spikes was told to leave the sidelines because he was not recognized. Not recognizing stellar alumni and treating them shitty is inexcusable. Losing to Vandy merits a “wtf were you thinking?” But it ain’t inexcusable like shitting on family.

That was fun. Had a house full of maize and blue families here in the mountains of southern vermont. Shocker.
Two years in a row. That must be a record. Definitely saved the job of the man in khaki for a few years. The bid question is if this can translate into national success.

Not really, the rivalry tends to shift between the two teams. OSU has been dominant the last fifteen years or so, before that Michigan was for about 12. They made the CFP playoffs last year, getting beat up by Georgia. Hopefully a better result this year. I doubt Harbaugh's job was in danger regardless of this year's result given last year's success.

I think U-M had a great day vs OSU having a bad day. UM doesn't make the long plays in the first half, they are done. It did expose Day as a shitty bench coach.

Today, Harbaugh could get the University President fired. How are you and RJ doing?
