Does anyone else think some of the stuff dentists have is way cool? I just had a cost and I always wonder where I can get some of this stuff.

UV cured fillers

UV cured adhesives

Etching stuff

Fast setting molding rubber

Carbide burrs

Sure seems like some of this stuff would come in handy for repairs on a variety of things. Is any of this available to the public?

My guy has a 5axis CNC that cuts crowns while you wait, probably 10 years now.
The whole process of getting a crown is about 90 minutes from tearing up the bad tooth to walking out with the new crown installed

Just bring $$$$.

Years ago I saw a Snap On catalogue that had picks that cost the usual S/O high price.

Then they had a dental/medical section where the same tool cost 7X as much.

UV cured resin has been a thing for quite awhile. Handy for quick repairs on occasion, but my little bottle has lasted a long time. I’m usually not in that big a rush.

I had my teeth drilled with one of those cable drive drills.

One would think with all this cool stuff they’d know how to tie a mother fucking stitch. FFS it’s been 2 days and two of my sutures for gum surgery have come undone and it’s pushing me off.
