The one with the shortened coach roof looks 'right' compared to the other two IMO. What's the scoop on these "L" boats - obviously not the Lymington class I got with a quick google?

Not a sailboat but very cool indeed.

This is now moored near the Ballard Bridge in Seattle and can be seen from the ship canal.

Correction. Last Huia Bird (photo circa 1938) was my aunt --actually my Dad's first cousin. She and sister Desiree performed for patrons of London's Windmill Theatre.

Usually am not a fan of mixing modern and classic design elements but here they managed to pull it off.

Certainly wouldn’t be 47ft oa considering that bowsprit maybe they should have made it retractable like the original pilot cutters had.
Installing a decent Bimini that raked would be a challenge and the form over function lack of headroom would not make me reach for my chequebook in any hurry.

Got to hang out on this Wylo II 35‘ last week, after hollering very excitedly at the skipper from the shore.

Cuts one heck of an unmistakable profile amidst the plastic fantastics and junkers in False Creek. Stunning fir & cedar interior and electric engine, as well.

I can’t recall this design. Makes me think Lecomte, but I don’t think so.

Nice old has been. Not quite as old as my has been. Late 60’s?

Easy sailer, mast furling on both sticks. Good coastal boat.

Interesting ‘Why bother’ Bimini between sticks.
