That sounds like virtue signalling... except that you actually ain't doing shit except trying to pimp the status quo, which is how those people sank into poverty in the first place.
No, dipshit, those people have always been in poverty. They haven't yet been lifted out of it by capitalism and fossil fuel.

As the climate warms the frost line moves to a higher latitude

old agricultural fields with depleted soils in lower latitudes then move north to-new fields …

Did they really lose money during covid?

Note that Apple has a 23% 5 year profit margin and not a peep out of fascist Robert Reich about windfall profits taxes on Apple.

What does the data actually tell you about CO2 greening? Skip the religious commentary.
Because a company manufacturing products like phones and computers is exactly like those that receive subsidies (while posting profits) and have such a massive impact on every aspect of our lives.

And, global weather patterns shift. Those areas in which we reliably grow crops (favorable temp and precip) may not be as productive. You are banking on new areas are equally or better suited to take up the slack.

Now, who is hoping for the future?

Really? Surely capitalism can't be the problem, we've had capitalism for centuries.

Come to think of it, we've had fossil fuel for centuries too, although the current corporate dominance of the field only dates back about one and a quarter centuries.

How long is it going to take?

Pretty sure the subsidy thing is a big lie. I would, of course, oppose all such subsidies even if you could cite one.

As soon as the developing countries embrace capitalism. Meanwhile, we have to keep retards like you from making ff more expensive.

They count shit like funding the military to protect fossil fuel interests. What are the real subsidies? (But if there are any, I would agree to remove them, so non-issue). No subsidies for any business.
If that were the extent of the subsidy, you'd have a point. But, it isn't. So, you don't.

Go ahead, click on the link -

"The Environmental and Energy Study Institute found that the US government alone spends $20 billion every year on direct fossil fuel subsidies. Of that figure, around $16 billion goes towards oil and gas, while the remaining $4 billion benefits the coal industry."

Yeah maybe you should click the link to see exactly what they count as subsidies. A whole lot of bullshit.

Either way, remove all actual subsidies of taxpayer dollars. If there are any.

Ah. So, if YOU deem it "bullshit", it doesn't really count as a subsidy.

Gotcha.

Meanwhile -

The federal government provides numerous subsidies, both direct and indirect, to the fossil fuel industry. Special provisions in the U.S. tax code designed to specifically support and reward domestic fossil fuel‐related production are direct subsidies. Other provisions in the tax code aimed at businesses in general create indirect subsidies that are not exclusive to the fossil fuels industry. In certain cases, quantifying these subsidies is fairly simple. In the case of indirect subsidies, establishing an amount associated with these subsidies is more challenging. While not covered in this fact sheet, another source of federal aid to the fossil fuel industry is the discounted cost of leasing federal lands for fossil fuel extraction. Some fossil fuel subsidies provide public assistance, such as the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which assists low-income households with heating costs.

Yep. Bullshit.

Marine ecologists are reporting migration of tropical coral into subtropical regions, part of a wider “tropicalization” of ocean ecosystems as species seek cooler waters away from the Equator. While struggling in their former habitat, they are proliferating between 20 and 35 degrees north and south of the Equator, with young refugee corals creating new reefs hundreds of miles from home.

And, what is happening in those Equatorial waters?

In your world all climate change is negative

in the real world this is not true

what they have documented is that dead shallow water coral reefs break into a million pieces then are deposited on the shoreline making low tropical islands larger and more resistance to sea level rise

How about the US Rural Electrification Act... 40 years after the introduction of electricity to the big cities, where it was enormously profitable, households 20 miles away were still in the oil-lamp era.

Why is that? Is it really "a big lie" that companies only provide profitable services in those places where they are the MOST profitable, and let everyone else slide? How does this work out for health care?

Really? None of the "developing countries" have any capitalism?

I'm glad you post this stupidity and then cling to it so tenaciously. It provides a heck of an opportunity for education to the reader.

I'll take that as an "I have no fucking clue" as your answer to my question.

Funny how so many of you on the right claim to have some special ability to see what is in the hearts/minds of the opposition. You've posted what you claim is in my "world". Where'd you learn to divine info like that? A prize in a box of Cracker Jack?
