It is not possible to actually see 75% of the arctic ice disappear even if it happened, which it didn't.

If CO2 emissions are melting the arctic, what melted it way more 7000 years ago when CO2 was 260ppm?

Many things effect the earths cycles,
Talk about thousand years ago. this effected the climate,( before man came along)

Golly gee whiz. Are you saying that it is actually changes in eccentricity, obliquity and precession that control the glaciations and not CO2? Remarkable.

Thought you like it, but agree and disagree, Yes the earth. solar system, milky way are always changing and mostly over long periods of time, But basically humans are polluting the planet in a very short time (100 years). compared to 1000's+ years, and a lot has to do with using fossil fuels.
I think if man stop burning gas tomorrow, it's still too late, Look out for the tundra melting (methane) 10x more harmful.

Climate crimes must be brought to justice

cou_03_19_wide_angle_catriona_01_website_2.jpg

Climate denial has increased the risk of catastrophic global change. Should international criminal law be used against those who promote this dangerous trend? Economic and political leaders can no longer pretend it is business as usual. Whether they actively induce environmental harm or just ignore the existential threat against the survival of the human species, states and corporations must be held accountable for their actions or inaction regarding climate change.

Which "state" should we bring criminal charges against first?

Exxon must go to trial over alleged climate crimes, court rules

The Massachusetts high court on Tuesday ruled that the US’s largest oil company, ExxonMobil, must face a trial over accusations that it lied about the climate crisis and covered up the fossil fuel industry’s role in worsening environmental devastation.

Exxon claimed the case brought by the Massachusetts attorney general, Maura Healey, was politically motivated and amounted to an attempt to prevent the company from exercising its free speech rights. But the state’s supreme judicial court unanimously dismissed the claim in the latest blow to the oil industry’s attempts to head off a wave of lawsuits across the country over its part in causing global heating.

True.
Should international criminal law be used against those who promote this dangerous trend?
Which 'international criminal law'?
Economic and political leaders can no longer pretend it is business as usual.
Many of them can and will.
states and corporations must be held accountable for their actions or inaction regarding climate change.
Slowly, this is happening through regulation and market forces like ESG. It will not happen through "international criminal law", whatever that is.

Who wrote that, Greta fucking Thunberg when she was 11?
