How the heck did THIS come back?
I do miss the old 1,000 Days Of Cheese, that had to be the high point of maritime grifting. Now we are stuck with a guy over on CA making some weird light-pole mast thing and floating around Alabama. Quality is way the hell down from the old days and the Seeker guy doesn't actually know how to sail either

I resisted the impulse to suggest hard cheese.

Near the end the cruise, I decided much of the banter in which I had been involved was not appropriate for long term saving. I deleted my posts from the thread.

However, if memory serves correctly, the thread still had over 100,000 posts.
In a brief look last night I failed to find many pictures, doctored hilarious pictures, and memorable comments from posters who seem to be entirely absent from the thread.


My guess is thousands of posts went away as certain contributors were flicked

My second curiosity has to do with the title. Originally Motorcycle’s thread has no mention of 1000 Days Cruising..

the title was something like “This is Ridiculous” and I think the 2000 pounds of cheese was mentioned.


Can anybody do some explaining??

It all seems so trivial now, I wish the biggest thing I had to worry about in life was the antics of a hippy grifter.
