• Take the Tiwal 3, and put that rigid foil box a bit indented (~1 inch?). In there, hide a pivot system based on a spring and a line (like the a-cat/N17/Viper adjustable rudder rake). So the canard foil system is mounted on a plate that pivots +4/-2 degrees. A thin dyneema line counteracts the strong springs, and is attached to a sprit and wand combo.
• Put a hard rubber gasket to hide the contraption a bit as it's silly drag until takeoff

It'll have some limitations – and it'll probably be overly fragile in the face of groundings at speed.

But TBH the thought of a fixed-mainfoil (like a current Moth) crossover with a Tiwal-type boat... there's something there (unlike this bottle of rum; there's no longer something in it ;-) ).

These inflatables are heavy, though, so helium would be a requirement.

Someone earlier was correct, go with hydrogen, half the density of helium, cheaper to acquire and if you are mildly handy you can make it. When not pressurized it will not dissipate from what ever contains it in a time frame you care about.

The Tiwal 2L might be the better craft for your thought experiment. It has blow up wings that can be filled with hydrogen rather than the 3R race version aluminum racks. The 2L also weighs in at 103lbs, the 3R is 121lbs. The 3R has a better looking sail at 77sqf to the 2L at 75sqf and a less sporty looking rig. Perhaps a 2L with the 3R rig/sail?

Doesn't a Laser need the breather hole to prevent a pressure difference between the air in the hull, and the atmosphere? I would think the same would apply to a hull filled with hydrogen or helium.
